Youri Tielemans leaves Aston Villa after winning the Europa League and signs with the Red Devils in a €35 million transfer.
Manchester United confirmed the signing of Tielemans from Aston Villa this Tuesday. According to Sky Sports, the Belgian midfielder cost €42 million and signed a five-year contract with the Red Devils.
Last season, Tielemans scored two goals and provided seven assists in 35 matches, contributing to Aston Villa’s Europa League triumph.
The midfielder arrived at Villa in 2023 following a standout spell at Leicester City, the club for which he played 195 games.
Tielemans is a key figure for the Belgian national team; he led Belgium to the quarter-finals of the 2026 World Cup, where they were eliminated by Spain.
