MORGAN ROGERS JOINS CHELSEA

Morgan Rogers is leaving Aston Villa and has become Chelsea’s latest signing for the 2026/27 season.

The move was confirmed by the Blues, who introduced the England international to members and fans via social media and an official statement. Signed from the Villans, Rogers has agreed to a contract running until June 2033.

Rogers leaves Villa following an outstanding 2025-26 campaign, during which he helped the Midlands club win the Europa League, scoring a goal and providing an assist in the final against Freiburg. He also netted 10 Premier League goals and established himself as a regular in the England squad, contributing an assist during the Three Lions’ run to the World Cup semi-finals this summer.

Rogers joined Aston Villa from Middlesbrough in February 2024 and rapidly developed into one of England’s most exciting young forwards under Unai Emery. His performances over the last two seasons significantly boosted his market value, culminating in one of the biggest transfers in Premier League history.
